Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Berganza took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Isaias Jakue kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 16th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Maximo Horquizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Sartori hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Isaias Jakue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 30 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Miralles. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Jakue in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Yao Yan Sen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Yao Yan Sen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Isaias Jakue might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Jakue ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Jakue in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Panama's Jose Carita got a free kick in the 48th minute. After 48 played minutes, Sporting Buceo's Yao Yan Sen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Buceo reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Jakue to strike the kick off in the second half. Juan Sartori hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Isaias Jakue might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Jakue ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Isaias Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 71st minute, Isaias Jakue made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Sporting Buceo's Charly Good was substituted for Filimon Gamburtsev. The crowd rose to their feet as Maureen Franco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 0-7 in the 79 minute of play. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Panama defense, Charly Good kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. The Panama fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Cotilla should have stopped the shot. Xinto Carreiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Charly Good recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Xinto Carreiras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Xinto Carreiras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Panama fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sporting Buceo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
