Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) BERMEJO's Joaquin Lorien started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernan Goren came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 9th minute of play forced BERMEJO's goalkeeper Hernan Goren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Feliu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Hernan Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Lorien in the 32nd minute of the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hernan Goren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th match minute, BERMEJO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Dantae to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. BERMEJO's Hernan Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, BERMEJO's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Hernan Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Goren having to interfere. BERMEJO made a substitution. Bruno Romildo replaced Joaquin Lorien. Victor Flores hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The corner led to Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raul Dantae during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Raul Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BERMEJO's Hernan Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Venezuela fans cheered their team off the field, for while BERMEJO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
