Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Carlos Bueno sent off a good shot on target. If Carlos Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ASI NOMAS FC's Ciccio Rava played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. Ciccio Rava showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Moises Gayoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, ASI NOMAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ciccio Rava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciccio Rava was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciccio Rava saved ASI NOMAS FC from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Isadoro Sabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciccio Rava. Ciccio Rava dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 41st match minute, ASI NOMAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Serna to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio Rava showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Julian Murillo sped through ASI NOMAS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciccio Rava. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Peru booed when ASI NOMAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattin Oterino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Mattin Oterino kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Peru's Rafael Gallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciccio Rava narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciccio Rava showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ASI NOMAS FC.
