Luca Jivulescu had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Cassius Byrne's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 15th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Mao Bin Ao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luca Jivulescu made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Monty Rogers sent off a good shot on target. Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ares FC -MM- from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes Ares FC -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Diego Bradley heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 40th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Baal Ares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ares FC -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Baal Ares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folkert Walregt made a kick off. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baal Ares in the 58th minute of play. Monty Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Jivulescu having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Baal Ares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Day was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 71stth minute of the game Monty Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ares FC -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Monty Rogers was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. Baal Ares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Ares in the 74th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Luca Jivulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diego Bradley made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Khalid Parry immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zach Harrison in the 85th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Luca Jivulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baal Ares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Viktor Eklund charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Eklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Eklund to maneuver through the defense. Luca Jivulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. USA fully deserved thier win.
