Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco Seco got the match started through his kick off. After 7 minutes, Piearres Somiedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Buceo and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Piearres Somiedo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Piearres Somiedo came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Buceo's Piearres Somiedo managed to work through Uruguay's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Piearres Somiedo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaizki Colina went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rdth minute of the game Nardo Tuo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sidoro Romeu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Piearres Somiedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Favila Heras, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Kevin Carballal got a free kick in the 34th minute. Sidoro Romeu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. In the 37thth minute of the game Piearres Somiedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piearres Somiedo in the 40th minute of play. Sporting Buceo's Vachon Camaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Piearres Somiedo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Piearres Somiedo made the kick off in the second half. When Sporting Buceo's Piearres Somiedo in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. Arturo Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Favila Heras's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Favila Heras helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Favila Heras got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute Gilmar Cuadrillero collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. In the 64th minute, Bruno Beldad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Celipe Zuazna got a free kick in the 68th minute. Favila Heras struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. 80 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sporting Buceo's Vachon Camaño. Vachon Camaño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vachon Camaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chants of Sporting Buceo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Uruguay had held the ball for most of the match.
