Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leovigildo Abumohor started the match with the kick off. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of the match. Emanuel Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 8th minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Emanuel Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emanuel Jacob narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 13 minutes Bresikas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leovigildo Abumohor in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bresikas's Emanuel Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play. The corner led Bresikas's Adan Montay to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 29th minute of the match. After 33 minutes Bresikas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Jacob breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bresikas's Nestor Enekoitz got a free kick in the 41st minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Emanuel Jacob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Stolpe in the 53rd minute of the match. Bresikas's Adan Montay was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leovigildo Abumohor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Emanuel Jacob was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bresikas's goalkeeper Emanuel Jacob, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Jacob made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bresikas booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Montay in the 68th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Karl-Åke Stolpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emanuel Jacob was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Åke Stolpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bresikas defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Jacob. The Bresikas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Jacob should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bresikas.
