Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Tornadele Siret's Aquilino Ponte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Ali Emir Işıklar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Ponte's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a Tornadele Siret's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Sancho to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Ponte to make the kick off. Ricardinho Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tornadele Siret's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardinho Lopes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquilino Ponte's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Vârnav. Felix Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardinho Lopes having to make a save. Ricardinho Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Lopes having to interfere.
