Joãozinho Quartiero took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The supporters of Centeno booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Eugenio Ixidor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Ixidor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
