Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. André Abelmann started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Mario Neumann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastian Abel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Bastian Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastian Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastian Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bastian Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Herbert Hopmeier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Eisenberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of FC Eisenberg booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Abelmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 36th minute of play forced FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FC Eisenberg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel did a great save. 37 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bastian Abel. FC Eisenberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Saelices was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bastian Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Bastian Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Abelmann in the 53rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Peters came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvio Abergell who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Silvio Abergell got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, André Abelmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Eisenberg from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, FC Eisenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Bastian Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Mario Neumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Abergell made a great header on FC Eisenberg's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 85th minute of play forced FC Eisenberg's goalkeeper Bastian Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Eisenberg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 87th minute, FC Eisenberg's Helmut Fleiner seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Helmut Fleiner the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Eisenberg protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Helmut Fleiner had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 87th minute, one of FC Eisenberg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Eisenberg. The goalkeeper, Bastian Abel, was totally fooled by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Luka Peters kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Eisenberg throughout the match.
