In the 14th minute, Jesper Grubb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Jesper Grubb came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Grubb in the 24th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Jesus Carvallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Bora Bora players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Mager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Robin Mager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Mager during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Valentino Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Valentino Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jesper Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes, Marco Tamayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Bora Bora players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 minutes of play, Bora Bora's Robin Mager made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robin Mager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Bora Bora were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after El Salvador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bror Säfström took the corner. When Adrian Kuse came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Bora Bora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Kuse couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Mager's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. When Adrian Kuse came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Bora Bora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Kuse couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Mager came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Grubb in the 93rd minute of play. When the match was over Bora Bora could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
