An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Mager in the 17th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Grubb in the 19th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Kuse in the 22nd minute of play. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesper Grubb, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Adrian Kuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Ekström in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Bora Bora booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Bolivia's Benito Madrid seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Benito Madrid the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bolivia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benito Madrid had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Bolivia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bora Bora:s goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robin Mager stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Bolivia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jesper Grubb fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jesper Grubb succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. The audience was convinced that Robin Mager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Adrian Kuse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Robin Mager managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bora Bora's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Mager was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Kuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 68 minutes Bolivia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bror Säfström who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Adrian Kuse almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa did a great save. Robin Mager scored 0-5 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Robin Mager sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin Mager in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Adrian Kuse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Kuse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. After 89 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Ferrant. In the 95th minute, Alejandro Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bror Säfström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
