Leopoldo Dunixi kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Argentinos de Bien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Loi to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Urtsin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Alfredo Urtsin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Urtsin. Argentinos de Bien's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 36 minutes into the match, Argentinos de Bien's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Alfredo Urtsin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Argentinos de Bien defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredo Urtsin. The Argentinos de Bien fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredo Urtsin should have stopped the shot. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argentinos de Bien's Alfredo Urtsin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfredo Urtsin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Urtsin. Alfredo Urtsin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Argentinos de Bien's Alfredo Urtsin. Alfredo Urtsin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 58th minute, Primitivo Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Urtsin. That made the score 0-10 in the 62 minute of play. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
