With an all-out effort, Honduras's Nestor Paraibano threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sebastian Villa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cícero Faria made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Richard Senna took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nestor Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Espinar in the 35th minute of the match. Alan Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere.

In the 50th minute, Edmundo Espiga made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Paraibano. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Nestor Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 55th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Honduras had held the ball for most of the match.
