Lara FK's Dursun Ali Alp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Lara FK from getting a goal against them. In the 7th match minute, Lara FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusuf Bahadır Semdin to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes, Mansur Yörük mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lara FK and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Panama booed when Lara FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mansur Yörük didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dursun Ali Alp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Isidoro Sarmiento could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Dursun Ali Alp however easily saved by the left post. 17 minutes into the match, Lara FK's goalkeeper Dursun Ali Alp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Cambeiro. After a defensive mix-up in Lara FK's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dursun Ali Alp came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dursun Ali Alp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dursun Ali Alp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dursun Ali Alp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lara FK's Yusuf Bahadır Semdin got a free kick in the 37th minute. A collision led to Lara FK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Karahan İlksel hit a great ball. When Kubat Pirane fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lara FK's protests and gave Kubat Pirane a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Lara FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kubat Pirane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lara FK's Dursun Ali Alp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Abraham Alguacil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dursun Ali Alp. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. With a little luck, Lara FK's Dursun Ali Alp got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line.

In the 52nd minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Dursun Ali Alp. Lara FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 58th minute of play forced Lara FK's goalkeeper Dursun Ali Alp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Cesur Kurceren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dursun Ali Alp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 68th minute of play forced Lara FK's goalkeeper Dursun Ali Alp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lara FK's goalie prevented a goal. Dursun Ali Alp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 90th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dursun Ali Alp having to interfere. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Dursun Ali Alp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. After 94 played minutes Lara FK got a freekick which was hit by Hamdi Uma. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Panama walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
