The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Celso de Carvalho in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ugarte's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Cambeiro came free, but Celso de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Cenan Yılkan came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patxi Deaguero kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Celso de Carvalho in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenan Yılkan in the 40th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savier Lebron in the 43rd minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cenan Yılkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Alfonso Ugarte's Cenan Yılkan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 0-2 after 56 minutes of play. A collision led to Alfonso Ugarte getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gabrio Barzana hit a great ball. Celso de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 60th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Alfonso Ugarte got a freekick which was hit by Cenan Yılkan. In the 67th minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match Gabrio Barzana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenan Yılkan in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenan Yılkan in the 78th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cenan Yılkan in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Níels Nesta charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Celso de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Cenan Yılkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Panama supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Alfonso Ugarte's performance. The match ended with a win for Alfonso Ugarte.
