Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute. Mexico's Luca Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santo Lano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bjørn Ironside in the 8th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Pedro Prestes sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Claudinho Quadros was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Audax Metropolitano's players had a chance to rest. In the 18th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Lano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bjørn Ironside, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfredinho Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Audax Metropolitano's protests and gave Alfredinho Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredinho Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Santo Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Clube Audax Metropolitano defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Lano. The Clube Audax Metropolitano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Lano should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haisenberg Dolar made a kick off. Santo Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 58th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Pedro Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Clube Audax Metropolitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Prestes couldn't finish the play. After 65 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Lano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Mattos came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of play forced Clube Audax Metropolitano's goalkeeper Santo Lano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Prestes in the 71st minute of the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Emirşah Berkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Clube Audax Metropolitano getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cyryl Dziechciowski hit a great ball.
