Zé Augusto Maciel made in the 2nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Lucrețiu Cuculeanu however managed to control. The throw-in from Emmanuel Reyes in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ares FC -MM-'s Viktor Eklund. Ares FC -MM-'s Baal Ares got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Luca Jivulescu in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Luca Jivulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baal Ares in the 20th minute of play. Luz Tejedor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luca Jivulescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Anthony Alvarado hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baal Ares in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Jivulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baal Ares kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Baal Ares came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baal Ares in the 75th minute of play. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. After 83 minutes Ares FC -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ares FC -MM-'s goalie and right to Alonso Berganza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ares FC -MM-'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Peru's Alonso Berganza in 84 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Luca Jivulescu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ares FC -MM-'s Pete Wray. Peru were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ares FC -MM- to leave the ground with a draw.
