With a little luck, Tornadele Siret's Călin Paulică got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Paulică. Tornadele Siret's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 14 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Paulică was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Călin Paulică made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 17th minute. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Oblemenco in the 22nd minute of play. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tornadele Siret's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 37 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Paulică. Călin Paulică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Orlando Casaus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Casaus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Paulică breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Paulică. Călin Paulică dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Gavril Vâtcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Călin Paulică didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Călin Paulică was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. When Orlando Casaus came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Casaus couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Chile's Orlando Casaus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Călin Paulică made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Orlando Casaus scored 13-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Paulică, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Călin Paulică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 92nd minute of play. Chile's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
