Finlay Stair who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Dagoberto Vander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Jamaica's Jarell Hill ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dagoberto Vander. Dagoberto Vander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Romon Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Vander having to interfere. Finlay Stair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dagoberto Vander made a huge save. Romon Oliver might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Vander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romon Oliver ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Vergílio in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Neves in the 42nd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Finlay Stair to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Jamaica got a freekick which was hit by Jamaall Padmore. If Finlay Stair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Finlay Stair in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dagoberto Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden Football OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Romon Oliver came free, but Dagoberto Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Neves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Demonde Jacobson came out and tried to block the shot, but Maurinho Neves slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 69th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Iron Maiden Football OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Dagoberto Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Neves got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Jarell Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisinho Vergílio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 2-5 in the 81 minute of play.
