After 18 minutes of play, FÊNIX F.C.'s Kauã Moreno made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard in the 22nd minute of play. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Damian Fetor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. 25 minutes into the match, Luca Espinar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Fetor. FÊNIX F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Espinar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Damian Fetor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 28th minute of the match. Bengt Bouchard succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when João Paulo Prata made a throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game. Marquinhos Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FÊNIX F.C.. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Bouchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Espinar during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FÊNIX F.C.'s Gilberto Leite was substituted for Kauã Moreno. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Gilberto Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FÊNIX F.C.'s Damian Fetor got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Marquinhos Teixeira came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the FÊNIX F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Leite went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Fetor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FÊNIX F.C.'s Marcinho Arce was substituted for João Carlos Medeiros. 76 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Bouchard came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 87 minutes of play Honduras's Luca Espinar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Bengt Bouchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Bengt Bouchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Christian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Damian Fetor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Gilberto Leite hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FÊNIX F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
