Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Richard Linhares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Richard Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 played minutes Magnifico FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Donato. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes, Chicão Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Magnifico FC - FSCMZ and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Magnifico FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Senna in the 14th minute of play. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 19th minute of play. Richard Linhares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Richard Linhares slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Chicão Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Linhares came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Magnifico FC - FSCMZ booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 52nd minute of play forced Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Nestor Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chicão Novaes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. Chicão Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line.
