Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Lázaro Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwan Dziuma in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Peru booed when Heide FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Zarobski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iwan Dziuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Prestes in the 20th minute of play. Iwan Dziuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Dziuma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Dziuma saved Heide FC from getting behind. In the 37th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Alonso Berganza got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 37 minutes into the match. Lázaro Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Luz Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Iwan Dziuma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heide FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dziuma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Lázaro Prestes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iwan Dziuma was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Iwan Dziuma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Heide FC's Leszek Sakowicz was substituted for Maksymilian Zabrzeski. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Prestes in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Dziuma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match Heide FC got a corner. Peru's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Witold Hodyl ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Heide FC's Iwan Dziuma got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Bejrut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play.
