In the 6th minute, Truls Kirkemo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florian Kicia having to make a save. Florian Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Reynaldo Peruanton in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 14th minute of play forced C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper Florian Kicia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes C.A. Calamuchita got a freekick which was hit by Leizarraga Villa. Florian Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after C.A. Calamuchita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Luis Cazalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Florian Kicia quite easily take care of the ball. Florian Kicia came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Luis Cazalla. But to his dismay, Luis Cazalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to C.A. Calamuchita getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leizarraga Villa hit a great ball. Florian Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Florian Kicia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Ignacio Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santino Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Kicia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Kevin Mastache hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Han Hui to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Kicia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. C.A. Calamuchita made a substitution. Wilfredo Figueroa replaced Han Hui. In the 75th minute, Abram Secada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florian Kicia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Ignacio Perrando, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pedro Manzanares was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kevin Mastache got free with Florian Kicia in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A. Calamuchita made a substitution. Braulio Berbiz replaced Ignacio Perrando. After a rather tough play, C.A. Calamuchita's Michael Jähnigen got a free kick in the 85th minute. Kevin Mastache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florian Kicia. C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute, Santino Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Truls Kirkemo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Berbiz in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Braulio Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Berbiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 95 minutes, Wilfredo Figueroa made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. C.A. Calamuchita's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
