Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Brandao came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 3 minutes into the game, Hermes Quiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermes Quiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calito Garcia got free with Dante Lacasa in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Raul Brandao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 9th minute of play. After 13 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Arias. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Brandao having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cheito Mota during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cheito Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Joel Gaona scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Brandao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Villalobos in the 20th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Luca Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Raul Brandao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Brandao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Brandao. Raul Brandao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Raul Brandao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calito Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Lautaro Mancebo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Raul Brandao to make any attempt to save it. Raul Brandao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raul Brandao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Raul Brandao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Gaona in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raul Brandao. Raul Brandao yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Raul Brandao successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Raul Brandao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Brandao having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Raul Brandao. After 88 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Brandao was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Brandao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Brandao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ►Las Mercedes F.C◄.
