But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goalkeeper İskender Orbey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play forced BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goalkeeper İskender Orbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Servet Bakırcıoğlu in the 30th minute. Rolando Noboa stood somewhat misplaced when Bogdan Bambas came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 30 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play forced BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's goalkeeper İskender Orbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Linquist in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Servet Bakırcıoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürsel Durusoy in the 56th minute of play. İskender Orbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 64th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42's İskender Orbey got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İskender Orbey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseo Mina got free with İskender Orbey in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Bambas in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 96th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BaBa Aküü Yook..! 42 throughout the match.
