The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Peruanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Florian Kicia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 7th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, C.A. Calamuchita's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Florian Kicia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Kicia saved C.A. Calamuchita from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Han Hui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Anthony Alvarado hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, C.A. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Florian Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 58th minute of play. Han Hui's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Han Hui helped the player get up and apologised. Uriel Bartolome charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Bartolome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Uriel Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Kicia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 68th minute. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Florian Kicia made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 69th minute of play forced C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper Florian Kicia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Rafael Gallo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florian Kicia. That made the score 0-2 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A. Calamuchita.
