Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Grêmio Prudente's Lucrețiu Grigore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Ribeiro came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mo Wei Xing's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mo Wei Xing helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Colombia booed when Grêmio Prudente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mo Wei Xing didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8thth minute of the game Lucrețiu Grigore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Ribeiro in the 9th minute of play. Grêmio Prudente's attack was well implemented in the 11th minute, but when Edson Ribeiro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Grigore went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Ribeiro in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Quinto Fonticoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinto Fonticoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gomesano Gatica, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Quinto Fonticoba made a huge save. Quinto Fonticoba came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Axel Montenegro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Abram Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Grêmio Prudente getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Edson Ribeiro hit a great ball. Kevin Mastache's late challenge caught a Grêmio Prudente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kevin Mastache helped the player get up and apologised. Quinto Fonticoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gomesano Gatica was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 73rd minute, Colombia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edson Ribeiro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 77th minute, Lucrețiu Grigore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pascual Carballar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quinto Fonticoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 80th minute of the match. Orlando Tafalla hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Edson Ribeiro made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lucrețiu Grigore. The audience was convinced that Lucrețiu Grigore's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Lucrețiu Grigore sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. If Lucrețiu Grigore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grêmio Prudente's Quinto Fonticoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 96th minute of play.
