When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Felix Dorval took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dagoberto Vander to make any attempt to save it. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Fonseca in the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius got a free kick in the 41st minute. Luisinho Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Maurinho Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Iron Maiden Football OFF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Valdir de Azevedo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Iron Maiden Football OFF's zone, Gesner Philippe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dagoberto Vander came out of the goal and Gesner Philippe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Maurinho Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagoberto Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gesner Philippe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philippe Ambroise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dagoberto Vander having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Fritz Severe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Fritz Severe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Sá threw the ball into play from the sideline. Haiti's Rodney Emmanuel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 79 played minutes Iron Maiden Football OFF got a freekick which was hit by Diego Fonseca. Philippe Ambroise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dagoberto Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iron Maiden Football OFF's Luisinho Vergílio suffered a concussion in the 82nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 82 minutes into the game, Saint Jean Pierre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Haiti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iron Maiden Football OFF the free kick. Saint Jean Pierre hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Zé Paulo Sá made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Maurinho Neves. In the 93rd minute, Diego Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Iron Maiden Football OFF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
