The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wlodzimierz Kilarski came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Wlodzimierz Kilarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Kilarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Sitko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Juliusz Popowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juliusz Popowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Boreham Wood FC's Miroslaw Mindykowski got a free kick in the 88th minute. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Wlodzimierz Kilarski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. Wlodzimierz Kilarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute of play. Honduras's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
