With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Villa in the 24th minute. Richard Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Linhares's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After the first half Magnifico FC - FSCMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Linhares to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Senna went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 59 played minutes Magnifico FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Magalhães. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Nestor Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 62nd minute of play. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nestor Paraibano having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Nestor Paraibano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 64th minute of play. Kléber Magalhães made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. 89 minutes in the game Kléber Magalhães did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Richard Senna. Nestor Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 91st minute of the match. The Honduras manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Magnifico FC - FSCMZ to win.
