Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Sawicki in the 14th minute of the match. In the last second Jonathan Ferrant throw himself and got hold of the ball when Iwo Sawicki in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tiger's Josef Witlatschil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Iwo Sawicki made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 25 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Folko Rebe. After a defensive mix-up in Tiger's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Witlatschil came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pentti Ojala in the 27th minute. The Tiger fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Tiger's Christo Bothenhain looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Tiger booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Christo Bothenhain sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Witlatschil having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iwo Sawicki stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pentti Ojala, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Rudolf Speed notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiger's Josef Witlatschil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Thilo Heß left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 77 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marten Weise, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marten Weise in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pentti Ojala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After 83 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by Folko Rebe. Tomas Illescas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marten Weise in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Marten Weise sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tiger had played much better football throughout.
