Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Pedro Montenegro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roger Silva came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Agro Imortal's Roger Silva. Roger Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roger Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Eliseo Noboa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roger Silva. Agro Imortal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliseo Noboa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Roger Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Noboa went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 34 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Delfim Neiva. In the 37th minute, José Pedro Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Silva having to interfere. Axel Tasis scored 0-5 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 49 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Roger Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Axel Tasis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Roger Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hugo Ferrant made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lautaro Puig. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Roger Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 68th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Roger Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Pedro Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Agro Imortal got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Batista. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. Roger Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 96th minute of play. The Costa Rica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Costa Rica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
