Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wojciech Skorny in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radowit Karp. After a rather tough play, FC Maka Paka's 刘沙洲 got a free kick in the 16th minute. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Radowit Karp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Skorny in the 22nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radowit Karp in the 29th minute. Boruc Basinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Macos Graciani made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Gaona. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boruc Basinski having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Napoleon Rywin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radowit Karp to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Basinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Boruc Basinski could save by the left post. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 68th minute of the match, Waldemar Drab sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Dante Lacasa showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Alberto Tafalla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Boruc Basinski, passed just outside the right post. In the 75th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. Radowit Karp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
