Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes, Saṃsāra Social Club's Maximino Guifre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saṃsāra Social Club reached it. After 5 played minutes Saṃsāra Social Club got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Pabla. In the 9th minute, Saṃsāra Social Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 16 minutes, Jorge Benevides managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saṃsāra Social Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Benevides was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The supporters of Saṃsāra Social Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Guifre in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiën van der Bij, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Maximino Guifre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 26 minutes, Maximino Guifre made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saṃsāra Social Club the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Celipe made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Celipe. Cornelio Celipe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Guifre in the 40th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Lartaun came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Saṃsāra Social Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Pabla to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximino Guifre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Saṃsāra Social Club's Maximino Guifre broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alvaro Lartaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Celipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Saṃsāra Social Club's Cornelio Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute of play. Maximino Guifre did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant 63 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Saṃsāra Social Club getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Leon Inguana hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Guifre's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The supporters of Saṃsāra Social Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saṃsāra Social Club's Young Draper was substituted for Shannon Woodard. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Jonathan Ferrant had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alvaro Lartaun from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Saṃsāra Social Club were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Maximino Guifre took the corner. Fabiën van der Bij hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Maximino Guifre in the 84th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jonathan Ferrant kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Saṃsāra Social Club made a substitution. Rudy Gutierrez replaced Leonard Aluchei. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Maximino Guifre sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a Saṃsāra Social Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Maximino Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saṃsāra Social Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
