Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute. It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Trey Echols who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 15 minutes into the match, Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Swanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyrone Terrell in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match Racing Miami Futbol Club got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Racing Miami Futbol Club's corner Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson took the corner. Camilo Gisbert made in the 46th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. 47 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Guilherme Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Trey Echols to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Miami Futbol Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Larry Cermak was substituted for Xu Yuan Lin. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Andino in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Racing Miami Futbol Club's Anton Swanson. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chance Adams in the 88th minute of play. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Racing Miami Futbol Club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
