Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Murillo took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martins Palermo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gavino Hodei got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 14 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emiliano Martínez, 1-0. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martins Palermo in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Yu Tian Yan threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Alonso Berganza quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led Fecha Libre's Gavino Hodei to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Noboa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Luz Tejedor hit a great ball. Emiliano Martínez made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. When Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo, in the 37th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Fecha Libre. After a defensive mix-up in Fecha Libre's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Martínez came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Martins Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiliano Martínez. That made the score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martins Palermo was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes Fecha Libre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gavino Hodei sent off a good shot on target. Julian Murillo scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Fecha Libre's Martins Palermo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. Martins Palermo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fecha Libre. 70 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Emiliano Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Igli Tare made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Peru's Rolando Noboa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavino Hodei kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Martínez. Fecha Libre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 81 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Igli Tare came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fecha Libre's Emiliano Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 84th minute of play. Fecha Libre made a substitution. Teo Mouricio replaced Amador Kelemen. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Martínez was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Fecha Libre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
