Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Karol Sitko made the kick off which started today's match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Sitko in the 4th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Karol Sitko put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. The supporters of Boreham Wood FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Damian Niedziela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Tasis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wlodzimierz Kilarski. That made the score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. Boreham Wood FC's Wlodzimierz Kilarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Boreham Wood FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Boreham Wood FC's Jan Kaznocha got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Boreham Wood FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Eliseo Noboa scored to the left of an out of position Wlodzimierz Kilarski, making the score, 2-1. Jan Kaznocha kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Damian Niedziela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Rutecki hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Karol Sitko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Sitko, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Sitko in the 43rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Niedziela scored 2-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Sitko in the 53rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Kilarski having to interfere. Miroslaw Mindykowski struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boreham Wood FC. Karol Sitko had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Gilbert Sakowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Wlodzimierz Kilarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Boreham Wood FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Boreham Wood FC's Karol Sitko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karol Sitko's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Boreham Wood FC's Wlodzimierz Kilarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 85th minute of play. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Niedziela came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Boreham Wood FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
