Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Horaţiu Bacalbașa made the kick off and thus started the match. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Horaţiu Bacalbașa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Brudzisz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Hermenegildo Rebelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yao Liang Ming didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Bacardi Black Bats from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Bacalbașa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
