In the 10th minute Quentin Platt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Artur Brudzisz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 12th minute of the match. Artur Brudzisz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Artur Brudzisz threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The throw-in from Felix Luque in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bacardi Black Bats's Marcelito Silva. 36 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's Horaţiu Bacalbașa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Bacardi Black Bats were awarded a corner. Hermenegildo Rebelo went to the cornerflag to take it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Horaţiu Bacalbașa made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bacardi Black Bats's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Artur Brudzisz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Brudzisz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Wojciech Grunwalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bacardi Black Bats made a substitution. Cris Ronaldo replaced Yao Liang Ming. Bacardi Black Bats's Alexandre Mourinho was substituted for Cristóvão França. After having played for 85 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 89th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermenegildo Rebelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Leoz got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lautaro Mancebo. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
