Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alketas Kolliopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iakovos Perivolakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miltiadis Liakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Perivolakis having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Miltiadis Liakos took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Miltiadis Liakos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Chinomso Zelarayan managed to get in a good position for a shot. IRAKLIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Chinomso Zelarayan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miltiadis Liakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iakovos Perivolakis having to interfere. Miltiadis Liakos kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, IRAKLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Iakovos Perivolakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alketas Kolliopoulos. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chinomso Zelarayan to make the kick off. Miltiadis Liakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by IRAKLIS's Miltiadis Liakos. But to his dismay, Miltiadis Liakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 55th match minute, IRAKLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodosis Christodoulou to maneuver through the defense. Iakovos Perivolakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, IRAKLIS's Alketas Kontodimos got a free kick in the 62nd minute. IRAKLIS's Alekos Karameros suffered a sore thigh after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. IRAKLIS's Menelaos Mavromatis was substituted for Akakios Lyberopoulos. In the 70th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chinomso Zelarayan scored 4-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltiadis Liakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chinomso Zelarayan in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Miltiadis Liakos came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IRAKLIS's Theodosis Christodoulou got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iakovos Perivolakis made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miltiadis Liakos in the 86th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for IRAKLIS.
