Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adrianinho Pires took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Abraham Alguacil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gülce Leyla's Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Gülce Leyla's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrianinho Pires hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Gülce Leyla booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Miralles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunther Stub in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Gunther Stub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gülce Leyla's supporters rose to their feet, but Gunther Stub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serkan Dervişoğlu in the 31st minute of the match. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serkan Dervişoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. After having played for 43 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 53rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Panama's corner Miguel Miralles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mustafa Hamit Suyurgal quite easily take care of the ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunther Stub in the 59th minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Pires in the 60th minute of play. With splendid footwork Tomas Berganza arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-1 by the left pole in the game's 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Pires came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. In the 71st match minute, Gülce Leyla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuri Gökyüzü to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gülce Leyla's Adrianinho Pires got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Pires in the 76th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gülce Leyla supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for Panama.
