Zalasárszeg OSE were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tamás Herczegh took the corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kálmán Gácsi in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szilárd Tótfalusi in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of play forced Zalasárszeg OSE's goalkeeper György Tóth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Márió Kállai tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zalasárszeg OSE's Szilárd Tótfalusi got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg OSE's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but György Tóth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zalasárszeg OSE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Agustín Saelices managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Zalasárszeg OSE were awarded a corner. Tamás Herczegh went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 38th minute Márió Kállai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. György Tóth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zalasárszeg OSE the free kick. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márió Kállai to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Dávid Kerekes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without György Tóth having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. György Tóth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over György Tóth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Szilárd Tótfalusi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. György Tóth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Gácsi in the 87th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg OSE's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but György Tóth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Zalasárszeg OSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábián Füzesi to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Zalasárszeg OSE players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
