Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Grêmio Papão de WC were awarded a corner. Selman Pektaşi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Grêmio Papão de WC's Selman Pektaşi to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás in the 10th minute of play. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 11th minute of the match. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Selman Pektaşi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 26th minute of play forced Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jacob May had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
