Calamuchita's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Florian Kicia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Perrando in the 10th minute of the match. Florian Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Cevat Erbaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Han Hui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With 41 minutes on the clock, Luca Rouco commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Wilfredo Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 56th minute of play forced C.A. Calamuchita's goalkeeper Florian Kicia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Uriel Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Wilfredo Figueroa with Han Hui as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Perrando in the 65th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Wilfredo Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 91st minute. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that C.A. Calamuchita's Florian Kicia managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 95th minute. C.A. Calamuchita's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
