Julio Vera was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Lucas Colombo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Colombo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Lucas Colombo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Izaak Lopez de Toro was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Izaak Lopez de Toro. Julio Vera was a little too slow when Lucas Colombo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s goalkeeper Izaak Lopez de Toro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Colombo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Lucas Colombo took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Izaak Lopez de Toro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gilbert Darwis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Izaak Lopez de Toro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. 55 minutes into the match, Lucas Colombo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Colombo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Bartolo Lertxun was substituted for Wilfried Zaha. Felix Montenegro made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Ismael Larra. 72 minutes into the match, ♫ Highway To Hell ❼❾ ♫'s Arnoldo Eneto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
