Alco FC's Delmiro Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Alco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Forssberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Tommy Rudkvist made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Alan Campos fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Alan Campos a yellow card for diving instead. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Oskar Kolberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Oskar Kolberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Rudkvist in the 27th minute of the match. Karl-Michael Stabbe hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Rudkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Rudkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Alco FC's Jacobo Nores threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oskar Kolberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alco FC's Tommy Rudkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Pardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delmiro Filipo having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Alco FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gabriel Boberg in the 58 minute of the game. After 60 minutes of play, Alco FC's Tommy Rudkvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Paraguay booed when Alco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alco FC's Delmiro Filipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Joakim Forssberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Pardo to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Oskar Kolberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Hector Covarrubias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Filipo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tommy Rudkvist scored 3-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Alco FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
