Calamuchita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Peruanton couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's attack was well implemented in the 35th minute, but when Daniel Zorita was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. C.A. Calamuchita's Florian Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Luis Andino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florian Kicia was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Calamuchita's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Kicia came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
