Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Horaţiu Bacalbașa made the kick off which started today's match. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Bacalbașa. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Horaţiu Bacalbașa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Horaţiu Bacalbașa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bacardi Black Bats's Horaţiu Bacalbașa got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Horaţiu Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Bacalbașa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Horaţiu Bacalbașa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Bacardi Black Bats were awarded a corner. Hermenegildo Rebelo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Bacardi Black Bats's corner Hermenegildo Rebelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felix Montenegro. Hermenegildo Rebelo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 39th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Bacalbașa. In the 44th minute, Horaţiu Bacalbașa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Brudzisz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Brudzisz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 54 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Brudzisz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Artur Brudzisz to make any attempt to save it. Bacardi Black Bats's Alexandre Mourinho was substituted for Cristóvão França. Bacardi Black Bats's Cris Ronaldo was substituted for Yao Liang Ming. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Montenegro in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bacardi Black Bats's Marcelito Silva. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Brudzisz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Horaţiu Bacalbașa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
