After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Mateo Leguizamo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's Abram Luque got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Abram Luque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abram Luque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alco FC's Oskar Kolberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Tommy Rudkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 46th minute, Mateo Leguizamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Rudkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Leguizamo during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Kolberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Filipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Kolberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Alco FC got a freekick which was hit by Klas Nordstedt. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jesus Carvallo hit a great ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Kolberg in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Alco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Delmiro Filipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alco FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Klas Nordstedt hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes Alco FC got a freekick which was hit by Klas Nordstedt. Delmiro Filipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Luque in the 92nd minute of play. The Alco FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
