Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Karhan Siralp made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Murilo Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Janar Lehismets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karhan Siralp in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Karhan Siralp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Karhan Siralp made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Karhan Siralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Nunes in the 28th minute of play. Roberto Nunes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vito Melo hit a great ball. Roberto Nunes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Janar Lehismets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Nunes. In the 48th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janar Lehismets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 61 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho da Silva. After 62 played minutes New Loser FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Paraíba. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Janar Lehismets having to make a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karhan Siralp in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique de Salles during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 72 minutes into the game, one of New Loser FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Janar Lehismets had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Zorita's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 76th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. New Loser FC's Sidney Botelho was substituted for Dobromir Bienienda. In the 81st minute of the match New Loser FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joakim Asserlind ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Karhan Siralp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Maurinho da Silva hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan Siralp in the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, New Loser FC's Janar Lehismets got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Asserlind to maneuver through the defense. Matias Viña's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matias Viña helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, New Loser FC's Matias Viña got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Janar Lehismets made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Karhan Siralp came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than New Loser FC throughout the match.
